I've been working on this challenge this week and I can tell you I'll be using this template a lot! Lauren over at My Times, My Stampendance challenge this week was to use one of her templates any way we see fit.....
Well, I needed a quick graduation gift so I included 8 handmade cards and then 7 little study break candy tubes! (7 fit pretty perfectly in the back!)
Can't wait to see the other creations!

Beautiful Hydrangea
I am really use to using my stamps on my cards and this beautiful hydrangea card was created using a digital stamp. For digital stamps you print them using your computer's printer! I love hydrangeas. I am really fascinated by the pink ones, hence the pink one on this card.
I used a lot different techniques on this card.... I used machine stitching, piercing, layering, and glittering!! Whew!!! I love how this one turned out.

So Happy Monday
I am back after a wonderful weekend spent with my family. I forget sometimes how good it feels just to spend time with our boys. We kept our friends little boy this weekend so we had lots of boy time!!! The kids were well behaved and had a great time.
I did have time yesterday afternoon to create a card for Lauren's My Time to Color Challenge.
Here was our inspiration
and here is what I came up with!
(I kept the flip flop in the picture~cause it makes me happy!)
Have a happy day!

Happy Birthday Bella Card
Bella's are some of my favorite images. They are whimsical, different, and oh so fun to color! We're always needing birthday cards so I decided to add her to the mix. I really liked the fun patterned paper I found in my stash and for some reason I am loving orange these days.
Have a cool day!

Birdie Birthday
I am just still jumping for joy over my latest card creation! I have to say I think this is my best card to date! The paper, digi stamp, and stamp set went perfectly together! I finally stitched on a card and I am probably hooked! It really adds so much dimension. I made my own tassel for the scalloped embellishment. To finish this card off, I even stamped the cute envelope!
Enjoy!
Enjoy!

Tuesday Thank You
Wanted to use some alliteration today (hehe!) I think I will use Tuesdays as Thank You Tuesdays! I will try and list thank you cards:) It is so customary here in the south to send out thank you's. I try to do my part but often just forget! I guess that's mommy brain for you. I have this cute little patriotic stamp that has been waiting for me to ink it up. I sat down last evening and came up with this precious thank you!
This one goes out to all our military~ Thank you~
and MIL over at Stamps, Paper, Scissors, and Donkeysmiles has some great blog candy!! Go check it out:)

The Next Level Card Challenge 1
School's out and I'm ready to get some creative crafting time in. I really want to participate more in challenges so I am on the hunt for new ones. My first find is The Next Level. One of my favorite card makers, True is one the debuting design team. If you are not familar with True's cards then you REALLY need to check them out. They are awesome! I hope when I 'grow up' I'll be able to make cards that are like hers! Her stamped images are always so cute and I love how she layers them for a wonderful 3-d effect. She has an eye for color and design. She used all kinds of embellishments and I envy her sewing techniques. (I've got to get a little machine for cards! I'm afraid to use my Brother 8500.)
Here is her blog: http://truesgiftsfromtheheart.blogspot.com/

Summ, Summ, Summertime.............
Kids are officially out for summer here!!! Mine are so excited. Our youngest said, "Mom, I was done with school when I went out the door!" Don't you remember the days when you got out for summer! Our family is planning on a fun and relaxing summer.
I embellished these cute little white lunch sacks and used them as gift bags for my husband's secretaries at his school. They are all the same layout, just different paper.

Ella's Altered Frame
Welcome! I am so glad you came to visit today! As promised, I am posting a picture of the altered frame that I made for my niece's room. I began with a basic wood frame. I wanted it to match the nursery so I painted it green and accented with pink. I painted a few pieces of chipboard and added some bought chipboard sayings! Let me know what you think!!
