~Christmas Break~

I am officially on Christmas Break here with my blog! I am going to enjoy spending time with family and friends and will reblog January 2010!

Certification Test is back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My certification results came today and I am so excited!!!! I passed!! I really had doubts as the test was very, very difficult! A weight has been lifted and I am officially through and will have my diploma in hand soon!!!

Scotty-Day 7

I guess Scotty felt like I did last evening and didn't move! The kids must have been extremely good!!!! I laid around today and felt crummy but can tell the medicine is beginning to work. My throat is feeling better!!

It is so hard for me to believe that just a few minutes ago I finished my last exam in my last class in the Master's program!!!! I am finished taking all my classes and am just awaiting certification test results to come back! I finally decided to go for it! It has been a long, tedious task as my 30ish year old brain didn't quite function like it did when I was in my 20s!!!

I am so thankful for my loving husband who pushed me when I needed the extra push and who was so supportive during the last 1 1/2 years. It feels so good that I will be getting my Master's degree in Library Science. I will be searching for a Media Specialist job in the near future and hope to share my love of reading to all students who come through my center!!

It has been hard putting my card crafting off to the side while I completed the last part of my degree. I am looking forward to some new and exciting cards once the holidays are over. I am going to enjoy time with my family that I adore and thank God for everyday!

Scotty the Elf-Day 6

I woke up on Day 6 slammed with sickness. I spent 2 hours in the doctor's office--to find out that I have strep! (YIKES!) I was around everyone at my parent's house and had just a cough! Oh well.....I have rested today and the medicine is yuck!!! It makes me feel yuckier too!!!

Oh well, Scotty still had fun!!

Scotty-Days 4 and 5

We had a wonderful time visiting my parents over the weekend. It was fun getting to see my parents, brother, and sister-and her children. Scotty had fun while we were there too! He really enjoyed hiding behind the sequin tree!
