Scotty the Elf.....

We are so excited about welcoming Scotty the Elf to our home this year. He will be making sure hubby and I know if the kids have been good through out the day and each evening. He is sure to be lurking in some crazy places and will even be traveling with us when we are away.

Fun Friday~

I am so glad it is Friday! The children at school today were awesome! I am just so exhausted!!!

Here is a quick project I made this week. It is a custom painted canvas board embellished with goodies and ribbon and sealed for use for many yeats! It's on etsy. It is OOAK. It is perfect for a doorknob, knob, or hang by hanger....

I can also make one without the ribbon if you so desire!!! Adding more designs later in the weekend.

Christmas in September....

I finally got a chance to craft today!!!

I worked on Halloween cards and they turned out so cute!

Here's one for the evening!!

The Sweet Smell of Honey.....

We have completed our first honey season! My husband grew up around beekeeping and decided to give it a try. We began with 2 hives of bees in March and by July had our first frame of honey! It is a beautiful amber and it is oh so delicious!!!! We could not take any more this first year as the bees have to have honey to feed on through the winter. Next year we will be able to get lots of honey from them.

A couple weeks ago when he checked on the hives, one hive had died!!!! We are now down to one hive and they are doing really well.

We had some labels designed for our bottles! I think they turned out great!!!! We wanted something besides the standard yellow and black bee themed label.

Friday Fun in the Sun

I can't believe our week at the beach is coming to a close. My favorite times are beach times!!! I'll be headed back to work very soon and getting my room and lessons ready for a whole new group of 20 PreKinders!!!!

Thankful Thursday

I hope everyone is having a wonderful week. I am enjoying some time at the beach with our children and my extended family. Hubby is at home already back to work for the upcoming school year. I don't tell him often enough that I appreciate all his hard work! Thank you, hubby!!!!
